BASE Hours are:

Before School (M-F) 6:30 AM - 8:30 AM

After School (M-F) 3:30 PM - 6:00 PM 

Full Days 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM

 Hawk's Nest is a program for kids and about kids.  The staff encourages the BASE children to have a voice when it comes to planning activities and field trips. Through daily staff engagement and field trips we provide experiences and opportunities for learning that include diversity and inclusion.  We strive to make Hawk's Nest a safe and affordable program.     

Hawk's Nest Drop-Off and Pick-Up is located at the back cafeteria door.

 Fees: 

$75.00 Yearly Family Registration Fee

$100.00 Multi Child Family Registration Fee

$14.00 Before Care (6:30 AM - 8:30 AM)

$15.00 After Care (3:30 PM - 6:00 PM)

$35.00 Flat Rate Price for All Day's - Price increase may occur dependent upon activity specified in advance on the calendar (7:00 AM - 5:30 PM)

$5.00 to $30.00 ~ Field Trip Additional Fee's (Price increase will occur dependent upon activity specified in advance on the calendar)

$7.00 Transportation Fee Per Student/ Per Field Trip

10% Discount for siblings on Full Day Field Trips/Non-Field Trip Days

Weekly sign up is due the Wednesday prior to the week of service, or there will be an additional $3.00/child late sign up fee. 

Unscheduled attendance has an additional $5.00/child late fee. 

Late Pick Up:  

   The BASE program closes at 6:00 pm unless otherwise stated.  Late pick-up fees are assessed for families at $3 per minute per child after this time.  The program manager reserves the right to deny services if parents show concerning patterns/frequency of late pick-ups.  We strongly recommend that parents have a backup plan in the event they are unable to pick up children by 6:00 PM (Full Days 5:30 PM).  Reasonable consideration will be made for bad weather and road conditions.  Children will be supervised by program staff after program hours until either the child is picked up by an authorized adult or local authorities are contacted and obtain custody of the child.

 Admission:

   Any child enrolled in a Douglas County School and is 5 years 0 months to 13 years 0 months. Has completed an Enrollment Packet for each child attending. Children need to be signed up via the School Care Works Parent Portal. Weekly attendance is due the Wednesday prior to the week of service.
