Kimberly Kolbe

Hello! I'm Kimberly Kolbe, and I’m thrilled to be your 4th-grade teacher this year! I’ve been passionate about teaching for more than 12 years. I studied at Monmouth College, where I also enjoyed playing soccer and earned my teaching degree. Later, I furthered my education at Olivet University, earning a master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction. Teaching has always been my dream, and I feel incredibly fortunate to live it every day! My husband and I are proud parents to four wonderful children: Kaleb, Kallen, Kenzie, and Kendall. They attend Castle View High School, Castle Rock Middle, and Soaring Hawk Elementary. I’ve been a proud Soaring Hawk parent for over eight years, and I adore this school. I’m grateful for the opportunity to teach here and be part of this wonderful community!

Hello! I am so excited to be at Soaring Hawk again this year! This is my third year of teaching, and I am looking forward to all this year, and 4th grade, has to offer. I grew up in Parker, attending Douglas County schools elementary through high school. I have a BA from Colorado State in Human Development and Family Studies, and an MA from MSU Denver in Teaching.

Outside of school, you can find me at Legend High School coaching the Varsity Poms Team or spending time with family and friends. It is going to be a fantastic year!

Hello! I’m excited to be part of the Soaring Hawk Elementary team and to be teaching fourth grade this year.

I grew up in Southern California and moved to Colorado in 2019 with my husband and our three children. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Liberal Studies from Cal State Fullerton in 2007 and completed my Master of Arts in Teaching at the University of Maine, Orono in 2008.

After spending a few years away from the classroom to focus on family, I was grateful to return to teaching in 2022. I’ve taught elementary science for first through fourth grade, and most recently, I taught literacy and math to third and fourth grade students.

I’m passionate about creating a positive, engaging learning environment where every student feels supported and challenged. I look forward to a fantastic school year full of growth, learning, and connection!
