Kathryn Worden - IEP and Assessment Specialist

My name is Kathryn Worden and I am so excited to be part of the
Soaring Hawk team as the IEP and Assessment Specialist! I was born in Hinsdale, Illinois and earned my BS in Elementary Education from the University of Maryland. I taught Kindergarten, first and second grades for 7 years in Maryland while earning my Master's in Special Education from Towson University.  I then took 7 years off of classroom teaching to stay home with my 2 children (who also attend Soaring Hawk) and live with my family in the Outback of Australia!  I teach early childhood nature classes at the HRCA Backcountry and love working with families.  I truly look forward to supporting students this year at
SHE!
