Third Grade
Welcome to 3rd grade at SHE! This year students will be learning all about animal life cycles, multiplication, learning to research, fossils and so much more. We are a new team this year, but are so excited to help your child grow and succeed, in every aspect possible!
Audrey McDowell
I am thrilled to have the opportunity to work with your third grader this year and to collaborate with an exceptional third-grade team. I am a veteran educator with experience teaching grades 2 through 6. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education with a concentration in Social Studies from Florida Southern College, as well as a Master’s degree in Technology in Education from Lesley University.
In 2017, I moved from Littleton to Castle Rock and have truly enjoyed being part of this wonderful community—especially living closer to my school. Outside the classroom, I enjoy playing soccer, reading, spending time with my dog Blu, and enjoying the company of family and friends.
I feel incredibly fortunate to be part of the Soaring Hawk community and to work alongside such dedicated staff, supportive families, and outstanding students
Misty Bishop
Welcome to 3rd grade! I’m Mrs. Bishop, and I am so excited to work with the awesome third graders this year. I graduated from the University of Northern Colorado with a degree in Elementary Education and an emphasis in Mathematics. While I love teaching all subjects, I have a particular joy for building students' confidence in math. My family includes me, my partner, and our three cats — Sira, Ness, and Enzo. In my free time, I enjoy diamond painting, playing video games, spending time with my family, and listening to Taylor Swift! I look forward to meeting you and having an amazing year!
Katie Davidson
My name is Katie Davidson and I am so excited to be your child's teacher this year. I am a veteran teacher who has taught 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th grades. My family includes me, my husband, my son, Kellen and our black lab, Maddie. In my free time, I enjoy being outside, reading books, baking and spending time with my family. I look forward to a great year with your child!
