Monique Conley

This is my 13th year of teaching and I live in Castle Rock with my husband Shawn. I have a large family, including four grown children, a daughter-in-law and a grandson!
Usually, we have a special volunteer in our classroom, Mrs. Golden (who is also my mother). She brings her registered therapy dog, Jack, to school and students get to read to him!
My family loves sports, camping, fishing, movies, country music, and being together.
Melinda Humphrey

Being a teacher is something that I have wanted to do since I was in the fifth grade. I love spending my day helping kids navigate through their educational experience. In my life’s journey, I have had some amazing teachers that have inspired me along the way and I hope that I get the opportunity to inspire a few young lives as well. I was born in Iowa and have lived in Texas, Oregon and Colorado. I graduated from the University of Northern Colorado and have been with Douglas County School District ever since, 20 years! This will be my fifth year at Soaring Hawk. Last year I taught online and I am glad to be back in the building!
I am married to my husband Mike who is a teaching tennis professional. He works with all age groups at Valley Country Club. We have three amazing kids: Caleb (17) a senior, Addison (14) and Brooke (14) who are freshman and all go to Castle View. I am a very busy mom getting my senior ready for college and watching my girls play competitive volleyball.
When I am not at school, I love to garden and work in my yard, read and craft with my friends. I am so excited that I am a part of the Soaring Hawk family and look forward to a great year with your student.
Robin Vora

My name is Robin Vora and I am honored to be teaching at Soaring Hawk Elementary this year and look forward to teaching 1st grade again! This will be my 25th year of teaching. My favorite thing about teaching the primary grades is that I have the privilege of teaching children the joys of reading, writing, number sense as well as how to be the best little person they can be! First grade is a big learning year, not only academically, but socially and emotionally as well. I have both an Undergraduate and Masters Degree from Regis University in Curriculum and Instruction with minors in both biology and child psychology.
When I am not teaching, I love to paint, garden, read, hike and camp, paddle board, travel and work out. I love my family time and I am married and have a 16 year old daughter who is an 11th Grader at Rock Canyon High School! I am proud to be a Colorado Native and I currently live in Castle Pines, Colorado. I love the Broncos, CU Buffs as well as going to concerts! One of my favorite quotes from my grandfather is "Don't Forget to have FUN!" I live by this quote and I promise that we will learn a lot and have FUN doing it!
