Third Grade

Holly Norlin, Audrey McDowell, Liz Wulf

Ms. McDowell-- I am ecstatic to have the opportunity to work with your third graders and to teach and learn with a phenomenal third grade team! This is my 23rd year in education, and I have experience teaching 2-6 grades. I hold a BA in Elementary Education with a concentration in social studies, from Florida Southern College and a MA in Technology in Education from Lesley University. I moved to Castle Rock from Littleton in 2017, and I am happy to have a much shorter drive to work. I enjoy playing soccer, reading, and being in the company of my friends, family, and especially my White German Shepherd, Kodiak. I feel very fortunate to work with such wonderful staff, students, and parents at Soaring Hawk.

Ms. Norlin-- I am a Colorado native and graduated from the University of Denver with a degree in Psychology and Elementary Education.  I received my Master's degree in Education, from Regis University. This is my fifthteenth year of teaching at Soaring Hawk and I’ve been teaching in Colorado for twenty four years.  I enjoy spending time with friends and family and being in the outdoors. I also love teaching and feel so fortunate to be working with such wonderful staff, students, and parents, at SHE.

Mrs. Wulf-- I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Business and a Master’s Degree in Elementary Education. This is my ninth year teaching at Soaring Hawk.  My sons are all products of Douglas County School District, and all three graduated from DCSD. My youngest is a senior in college at the University of Montana, and our middle son will be at Colorado Mountain College in Steamboat this year.  I live in Parker, Colorado, and our family loves to be outdoors and spend time together, especially in the beautiful Colorado Rocky Mountains camping, hiking, and skiing/snowboarding.  My husband and I also love to golf and ride bikes.  Our only daughter is a very spoiled Yellow Lab and we have 4, four-legged granddogs, too! I absolutely LOVE working with my students and getting to see them grow and blossom, and I feel so fortunate to be woking with an amazing staff and community at Soaring Hawk.
